Constable May patrol car by GeorgieGanarf Constable May patrol car by GeorgieGanarf
The Patrol car of Constable May Brooks,Lazlo Neva township,Fiddler's Green.
Although a bit dumpy looking the "Scarab" type prowl car is fast agile, and if need be amphibious.
It is tough and well built and can take a lot of punishment. Easy to repair and maintain.
It is armed with a 50cal. chain gun that is aimed by the driver's eye movement and is fired by a trigger on the steering yoke.
Halogen head lights and and a multi spectrum search light. It has a rather spacious holding area for suspects/perpetrators and can be used as an emergency rescue vehicle.

Nice detailing on this sketch, and interesting story about the functions. Nice logos and I like the view fron the drivers seat.

Goodness! Does Fiddler's Green even have the sort of crime to warrant so much firepower? Or is it a deterrent by simply existing? *looks down* Oh, off-worlders, I see. : )

You know the type,
Space gangsters, slavers, drunk alien troopers on leave,human/humanoid young snots that like to make trouble(kind of like spoiled upper middle class suburban kids that like to go to the local Amish or Mennonite town and pick on the locals here on Earth),dangerous life forms that somehow end up on Fiddler's Green(escapees from space Zoos,Xenomorphs that buggered off from research vessels, etc.)
And the occasional Demon that pops in from a parallel dimension.
The worst thing a local might do is get in a shouting match with a neighbor or the rare pilfering of fruit from a garden or swiping some smoking herb from a neighbor's drying shed.(which is usually settled out of court with apologies or favors done in atonement)

Can't stop thinking about that rescue winch... I'd love to imagine a scene where she had to tie the rope somewhere (Maybe the ruins of a palace) and then trying to remove them by going in reverse with the car!:D

You like it? Thanks a lot:) I'm imagining the camera showing her concentrated expression, her hands gripping the controls, her foot pushing down slowly the gas pedal, and the wheels spinning:)

Well, there's a civilian version that's really good, and you can get a custom paint job from the dealer.
Ah,now, if only I could figure out a way for all of us to get to Fiddler's Green.

I had a friend some years back that sort of banned himself from watching any of the George Miller "Mad Max" films before driving or listening to Metal or Wagner on the radio while he drove.
He did put a "Missile launcher"button array on his dash board( I can't remember if he made it himself or bought it from a novelty shop, but it was cool!)For therapeutic reasons he said.
He just hated road hogs and asphalt crazies.

I can imagine, they are really horrible here, MPD doesn't even really do much in the way of Traffic control unless something crazy happens.

Oh sent the MO today, sorry about it being a day late but I ended up having to work yesterday before I could mail it out.

She's well armoured and tough.
It's like a high speed mini tank, just the sort of thing you might need when dealing with jacked up off worlders, thugs, and Shoggoths.
The folks in Lazlo Neva are super nice, just don't cause any trouble or be a jerk and you'll do well.

I'd fit in, they would like me. I like deer a lot. The citizens there are definitely able to take care of themselves though, from what I have seen. The world of Fiddler's Green. It is amazingly detailed, complete and balanced although I suppose there is always room for new creation/ Just like our world here, in this dimension. The constable does look pleasant and cheerful. :+fav:

She is a treasure!
May is super patient and smart.
She has a deductive reasoning the Sherlock Holmes would be proud of a sense of justice that goes beyond rule books and paperwork.
She has a terrific sense of humor and she has a lovely laugh.
Pretty good guitarist and singer too!

intelligence & patience, just those attributes alone would take an investigator a long way.
She does sound like an awesome character, deserves to be a prominent character. Cute too.
